This notice concerns the posting of two documents to this web site on October 1, 1999, under the heading, "Issues/decisions from the September 22, 1999, Federal Civilian Agencies Household Goods Relocation Committee Meeting & Synopsis."

The posted documents were originally mailed to GSA’s Federal customer agencies on September 24, 1999. The purpose of the mailing was to disseminate proceedings of a September 22, 1999, Federal Civilian Agencies Household Goods Relocation Committee meeting for management personnel within our customer agencies and Committee representatives unable to attend the September 22nd meeting. The documents were intended for internal use by our customer agencies in their move management services (MMS) decision-making process. Decisions regarding the future of GSA’s MMS program are not yet final.

Posting of the documents to the GSA web site on October 1st was inadvertent, and does not satisfy our Federal Register publication requirement. The statement of work and Federal Register notice reflecting any changes to the GSA MMS program will be forthcoming.
