The ITS Curriculum offers professionals and students a comprehensive range ITS training options. The Curriculum is divided into three levels:
Introductory Learning provides an awareness of ITS and its value, how it applies to different transportation modes and different operational strategies, and provides an introduction to critical elements in ITS such as the National ITS Architecture and ITS Standards.
Core Learning provides training on core activities in ITS. All professionals responsible for oversight, management, and implementation should have a grounding in each of these activity areas. Each core includes an Executive Summary to provide professionals with a conceptual understanding of why the topic is important.
ITS Specialized deepens ITS knowledge in specialized areas beyond awareness and core learning.
