ITS Professional Capacity Building logo

Background:

The ITS Professional Capacity Building (PCB) Program provides comprehensive, accessible, and flexible ITS learning for the transportation industry, offering training, technical assistance, web seminars, peer exchange and knowledge transfer, education, case studies, reference materials, and local programs. The ITS PCB Program is a cross-cutting support program in the ITS Joint Program Office of the U.S. DOT's Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA). The ITS PCB Program serves the learning needs across all surface transportation modes, working most closely with the Federal Highway Administration's Office of Operations, the Federal Transit Administration's Office of Research, Demonstration and Innovation, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's ITS Commercial Vehicle Operations research program to deliver learning opportunities related to the ITS Curriculum.
