Demand for safety and security is expected to grow 40% in 2007. Both Government and private sectors are spending and implementing plans to assure greater security for the general public and their own property and personnel. The New Year’s eve bombings in Bangkok and the continuing unrest in
Thailand’s three southern most provinces drive a sudden increase in the already growing demand for security devices.
Safety & Security equipment can be, largely classified into four basic groups based on their distributors clusters. They are 1) metal detectors, 2) CCTV, and 3) fire and gas detection devices and 4) home security devices. Demand for metal detectors and in particular CCTV is on the rise as the Thai Government increase security measures and coverage in response to the increase in both global and domestic requirements.
