Eruption fissure on Kilauea volcano, Hawaii

Fountaining lava rises from eruptive fissures in the first week of the Pu`u `O`o-Kupaianaha eruption. The fissures cut through old forested lava flows in a remote section of Kilauea's east rift zone.
