The Information Technology staff provides administrative and user support on the agency’s Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and data circuits, which provide connectivity to Department resources and the Internet.

This support includes usage and policy guidance and installation expertise on severs, routers, firewalls, switches, workstations, hand held devices, operating systems, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, NFC applications as well as internally developed ARS applications.  Additionally, the IT staff acts as the liaison between headquarters, the Department and location staff on security related issues and incidents as well as routine administrative tasks.

The staff has the ability to reset passwords for your ARSnet ID which gives you access to SharePoint, Exchange (e-mail), MessageScreen, eForms and REE Directory Updates.  The IT staff can also reset passwords for NFC IDs, FFIS, TUMS, StarWeb and FDW.

The staff also assists users with the release of emails and attachments quarantined by MessageScreen.
