Cooperative Procurement Pilot Program
Implicit Solutions has been awarded the fifth and final pilot project under the Cooperative Procurement Pilot Program (CPPP). Implicit has chosen heavy duty transit buses as the type of vehicle to be purchased under the program. Under the CPPP, participating agencies may use 5307, 5309 or 5311 funds at a 90 percent Federal Share. However, no additional funds are provided to transit agencies under the program. Agencies wishing to join the pool, or with questions about the operations of this pool, should contact David Hartwick at Implicit Solutions at David.Hartwick@implicits.com or at 972-421-2838. Implicit will finalize the list of transit agencies participating in the pool by December 22, 2006. Questions about the CPPP in general should be addressed to Bruce Robinson at FTA at bruce.robinson@dot.gov or 202-366-4209.
