Created in May 2006 by Cefic – the European Chemical Industry Council - ReachCentrum helps chemical manufacturers, downstream users and importers cope with their new REACH responsibilities. Thanks to its close links with the chemical industry, ReachCentrum follows the latest developments of the REACH regulation carefully and adequately. ReachCentrum experts professionally help companies with services such as Workshops, Consultancy and Consortia Management.

The Brussels-based ReachCentrum offers workshops, webinars and training courses to support REACH implementation within European and non-European companies or organisations. The success of ReachCentrum’s themed workshops proves that the business community still needs to be updated on the development of REACH although REACH entered into force mid-2007. Last year, our workshops and trainings had great success. Based on a huge demand, ReachCentrum has decided to organize 28 events in the first semester of 2008. The topics of the workshops, training courses and web conferences have been distilled to an essence, so that delegates receive only practical, concentrated advice – knowledge that is useful and ready to implement in companies.

ReachCentrum's Consortium Management Services are designed for companies preparing, forming and operating REACH consortia with the focus on meeting the REACH registration deadlines in time and cost efficiently. ReachCentrum’s solutions simplify the processes of forming and maintaining REACH consortia. Leo Appelman, appointed ReachCentrum Managing Director in July 2007, is pleased to announce that Pre-Consortia Formation and Consortia Management projects have been signed in the past months and that his experts’ team is actively working on a number of other proposals to become contracts.

ReachCentrum also provides REACH expert consultancy and bespoke workshops to support REACH implementation efforts within companies and other stakeholder groups. In 2007, ReachCentrum provided knowledge to a few associations and organized bespoke workshops adapted to specific needs. ReachCentrum’s role is to bring in REACH expertise and create an interactive session to bolster delegates’ knowledge regarding the regulation. ReachCentrum training courses and workshops can be tailored for companies or associations’ specific needs to increase REACH awareness in general or targeted to specific sectors.
