The REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 is having a major impact on chemical and associated industries worldwide that manufacture or import chemicals, preparations and articles in or to the EU.

The obligations placed on chemical and associated industries to comply with REACH will require regulatory expertise and specialist, scientific support. At TSGE, we have experienced regulatory managers and scientists dealing with the obligations of individual companies and industry consortia. Our scientists cover all disciplines required by REACH from human health experts, ecotoxicologists and physical chemists to experienced risk assessors.

In addition to our regular training for industry in the form of workshops, seminars and presentations, TSGE offers the following:

▲ GENERAL SERVICES - TSGE provides advice to companies on their general obligations (what to do and when) and assesses the impact of their actions on business. We assist in the review of substance inventories, a process which is invaluable for the management of various activities from pre-registration to supply-chain communications. In addition to representing the interests of companies in Substance Information Exchange Forums (SIEFs) and consortia, TSGE consultants have the proven experience and skills to manage consortia and/or their working groups.

▲ SPECIALIST SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT - Our scientific specialists in human health, ecotoxicology, chemistry (analytical, physical and environmental) and risk assessment offer data completeness checks, data acquisition and collation, data valuation and the preparation of IUCLID 5 dossiers including the Chemical Safety Report (CSR). Other tasks on which we are actively engaged are the preparation of safety data sheets, recommendations on classification and labelling and the assessment of SVHC.

▲ ONLY REPRESENTATIVE - TSGE offers an “Only Representative” service to companies outside the EU. The tasks done by TSGE extend to all those listed above in addition to obligations of record keeping on tonnages, customers and their uses and the transmission of accurate, version-controlled safety data sheets.

▲ THIRD PARTY REPRESENTATIVE - As an independent consultancy, TSGE is able to act as a Third Party Representative in situations where a registrant wishes to remain anonymous.
