To Whom It May Concern:

For approximately 25 years I have traveled independently with a white cane. My experience with audible signals has often been very confusing. There seems to be no consistency in the sound. There appears to be a code for the different bird sounds, but what if you don't know the code?

The buzzer sound was helpful at times, but sometimes it didn't function.
It seems to me that these signals at every single intersection is an incredible waste of taxpayers' money.
