I strongly support the recommendations of the Prowac report. Audibly detectable traffic signals would make it much safer for blind people to travel, and I am a totally blind person who uses a guide dog. At very busy intersections it is sometimes difficult to read traffic correctly and make a sound judgment, but audible signals would solve this proven problem.
