Dear Access Board Members:
As a member of the Washington Council of the Blind I strongly support the
position of WCB concerning pedestrian safety and transportation. It is essential
to have every means of assistance available in dealing with aspects of our
environment and safety today. As visually challenged and blind persons we should
be afforded the maximum assistance for rights of way in our mobility and
transportation needs. We can make a difference in educating the public,
heightening awareness on a practical level by building into environmental
structures the best additional features to enhance efficient and safe travel for
all persons of disability. I support changes which accommodate and promote
safety and equal rights of mibility in travel for all persons.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Bell
