What You Can Do

Here are a few steps you can take to ensure you know the quality of your drinking water:

Each year by July 1st you should receive in the mail an annual water quality report (consumer confidence report) from your water supplier that tells where your water comes from and what's in it.

Any community water system that serves more than 100,000 people is required to make its CCR available to customers on a publicly accessible web site.  A community water system may choose to link its CCR to EPA’s web site, although it is not required. 

The map below contains links to lists of drinking water quality reports by states. These links are provided by water suppliers who have opted to link their reports to EPA’s web site.  EPA is not responsible for the content nor the accessibility of the web sites listed below.
