The Office of International Law, U. S. Department of Transportation, provides
legal support to the Office of the Secretary in all modes of Transportation.
Its areas of responsibility include
- transportation negotiations with
foreign countries
- international transportation safety and security,
- international trade,
- NAFTA legal
interpretations,
- international and Alaska aviation pricing,
- Global Positioning System,
- U. S. air carrier citizenship interpretations, and
- aviation licensing and regulatory matters involving international air
transportation.
