Annual Refresher Training

All Commerce personnel (federal and contractor) who use, manage, or administer Commerce computers must complete mandatory annual refresher training as required by the Commerce IT Security Program Policy, section 15.3 (see policy section at http://ocio.os.doc.gov/ITPolicyandPrograms/Policy___Standards/DEV01_003884#P2281_250198).

Although other courses may be provided or required by your operating unit, the following courses are available Department-wide through the Commerce Learning Center to satisfy the Department's minimum requirement for annual refresher training (see Commerce Learn Center) and access information found at this link https://doc.learn.com.

The IT Security Awareness User’s Guide can assist you in navigating the online annual refresher training capability. Please consult with your operating unit IT Security Officer to determine if any substitute or additional operating unit courses are required. A list of IT Security Officers is available on the Commerce intranet.
