To all board members:
My name is Judy Cammett-Sommer and I live in Quincy, MA and work in Boston. I
commute to work daily with my Seeing Eye dog and have no accessible pedestrian
signals on my route. They would be very helpful because I would then know when
the walk light was on and could cross
streets more safely.
I find warning strips very helpful on subway platforms and am very scared in a
station that does not have them. Such things would also be helpful where there
are curb cuts for wheelchair users and curbs have been made extremely flat.
Thank you for reading this e-mail.
Sincerely,
Judy Cammett-Sommer
