ProjectsThe RITE Forum has launched four new projects covering various topics including EPS, VII, market-rate parking and distance learning. The individual Special Interest Groups sponsoring these projects are seeking volunteers to participate in the development and execution of the projects. New England EPS WorkshopThe objective of this project is the planning of a one-day workshop on integrated electronic payment systems in the New England area. The workshop will provide a venue to continue the dialogue and dissemination of information on the challenges and issues associated with the planning and deployment of integrated electronic payment systems. Vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII) Institutional IssuesThe objective of this project is to evaluate and make recommendations regarding VII institutional issues so as to gain confidence that a major future investment in VII is not burdened with unanticipated non-technical risks. Market-Rate ParkingThe objective of this project is to explore the concept of market-rate public parking policies and parking management approaches being implemented in various parts of the State of California.
