I am writing to oppose the regulations that would waste tax payers money. We do not need Audible Traffic Signals or Detectable warnigs at most intersections in this country.

As a blind person the idea that $2,000.00 per intersection would be spent to "protect" me is unreal. In many cases the devices will only serve to confuse and muddle things. If these devices are installed it should be only where need is demonstrated. For example, detectable warnings could be installed where it is impossible to otherwise tell when a person came to a street.

Otherwise, do not burden localities with costly regulations that help very little and may even cause additional confusion. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely
Erick S. Coulter
