TO: All Government Contracting Agencies of the Federal
Government and the District of Columbia
SUBJECT: REVISED SF-98
Attached for your information is a copy of the revised SF-98, Notice
of Intention to Make a Service Contract, which should be used by
contracting officers in place of the present form, effective
immediately. Forms should continue to be obtained from the General
Services Administration.
You will note that the form now has 2 pages, to provide information
required by the Department of Labor as a result of the 1972 Amendments
to the Service Contract Act.
Particular attention should be given to the revised instructions
printed on the back of the form.
