Quality Control for the 2003 AHS Survey


The following is part of the quality control check for the American Housing Survey tables.

  Acronymns

  SAU = Should add to the universe line or total housing units line.

              Indented lines usually add to the line above indentation unless there is a footnote.

  DNAU = Does not add to universe line or total housing units line.

  URE = Usual Residence Elsewhere

 

Table 1A-1 - Introductory Characteristics

In the Boxhead: Occupied Total = Occupied Owner + Occupied Renter

Vacant Total = Vacant For Rent + For Sale Only + Rented or Sold + Occasional use/URE + Other

Year Round Total = Occupied Total + Vacant Total

Total Housing Units = Seasonal + Year Round Total

Manufactured/Mobile Homes should be the same number of Manufactured/Mobile Homes in the stub item, Units in Structure.

New Construction in Last 4 years - Check the number with Year Structure Built.
