The Commercial Service in Shenyang is pleased to invite you to participate in the U.S. Pavilion at the 7th China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CIEME 2008) at the Shenyang International Exhibition Center, September 1-5, 2008.
Organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the State Council’s Northeast Revitalization Office, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the Liaoning provincial government. Strong support from the Chinese government is critical to ensuring good visitor traffic. In 2007, an exhibition hall for aviation and aerospace products and components was added to CIEME, providing a platform for machine tool exhibitors to meet aviation manufacturers as well. Over the last six years, CIEME has grown to be China’s foremost exposition for CNC machine tool, automation control system, and aviation manufacturing in northeast China.
This year’s event will feature a U.S. Pavilion, which provides an excellent platform for U.S. companies to showcase their products and services in this sector. The U.S. Pavilion will offer prospective U.S. exhibitors the following services: streamlined booth arrangements, market entry counseling and logistics liaison with Chinese organizers.
The Commercial Service of the U.S. Consulate General in Shenyang has successfully organized the U.S. Pavilions at CIEME from 2005 to 2007. Through our strong ongoing relationship with the show organizer, we have been able to continue to secure prime exhibition space amongst the nearly 4,000 domestic and international exhibitors. Of the U.S. exhibitors from CIEME 2007, 90% have already reserved space with CS Shenyang to exhibit at 2008 U.S. pavilion, which is estimated to exceed an exhibiting area of 670 sq. meters.

The U.S. Pavilion at EP China 2008 is nearly sold out (15 booths were booked) and very little space (8 booths) remains. Plan to participate alongside companies such as 3M, InforTech, Lectrodryer, Phoenix, Ametech, AccuEnergy Tech to increase your visibility and gain valuable contacts in China. Since we only have limited booths available, we welcome and encourage interested U.S. companies to contact us as soon as possible.
We welcome and encourage American companies to attend this high-level trade show. The U.S. Commercial Service in Shenyang will work to facilitate communication between American exhibitors and the show organizer in making arrangement to exhibit and participate in this important event.
