Minute Man National Historical Park

The alternative transportation study aims to understand the transportation networks and travel patterns to and within Minute Man in order to develop viable alternative transportation systems and help the park and surrounding communities better understand each other's transportation needs and overlapping impacts. The Volpe Center focuses on the traffic and travel on Route 2A; identifying existing alternative transportation services and potential stakeholders; and defining potential alternative transportation improvements in three reports.

As of February 2005, planned work will focus on collecting data to better understand visitor activity at the park in order to determine how alternative transportation can best meet visitor needs.

Report, June 2002
