Location: Miami, Florida

2006 Annual Report

4d.Progress report.
This report serves to document research conducted under a trust agreement between ARS and the South Florida Water Management District, West Palm Beach, FL. Additional details of the research can be found in the report of the parent project 6631-13000-002-00D water management evaluation in regions with high water table.

The USDA-EAH model, which is a farm scale model, is to be linked to the South Florida Water Management District regional model called SF Regional System model (RSM). A trust fund agreement was initiated between the USDA-ARS and the south Florida Water Management District to link the USDA-EAHM with the System Regional Model (RSM). The details on a method to link the two models have been determined, agreed upon and documented. Final work on the joining of the two models has been postponed due to other work conflicts until September 2006.
