GSA Publishes "The Integrated Workplace: A Comprehensive Approach to Developing Workspace"GSA # 9600 August 25, 1999
David Bibb, Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Real Property in GSA's Office of Governmentwide Policy, said that the "The Integrated Workplace: A Comprehensive Approach to Developing Workspace" is the first phase of a Federal Government workplace information clearinghouse to share information and expertise among agencies and industry. The 167-page report: Provides guidelines to help agencies define important issues and needs for an organization's workspace. "The Federal Government will need to compete more and more with the private sector for quality employees. The workplace has been proven to affect employee well-being and productivity and will play an increasingly important role in attracting and retaining skilled people," said G. Martin Wagner, Associate Administrator of GSA's Office of Governmentwide Policy." The "Integrated Workplace" report is available on GSA's Office of Real Property web site at http://policyworks.gov/realproperty by clicking on "Integrated Workplace Report" under the"Hot Topics' Clearinghouse" section.
