Janice Schacter, Chair of the Hearing Access Program, has really done her homework -- thoroughly and efficiently. I fully support her request that the suggested recommendations described be incorporated in the proposed Passenger Vessel Access Guidelines.
A trip on a passenger vessel should not only be a pleasurable experience for all passengers, but a safe one. Without the proposed recommendations, a person with hearing loss does not have equal access to either the entertainment or safety features accorded other passengers.
Since "we're all in the same boat", let's make the boat enjoyable and safe for all!
