WASHINGTON, D.C.--Continuing its support of Vice President Gore's Information Enterprise and Global Internet Infrastructure initiative, the U.S. General Services Administration has updated its Web management training courses.
The two courses, developed by the Federal WebManagement Institute and given by GSA and Leads Corporation, are: "Federal Webmaster's Survival Course WM-101" which focuses on a variety of Federal policy, management and technology issues, and the "Advanced Web Management" which takes an in-depth look at Web-related issues including performance measures, web site design, and business planning.
These courses provide webmasters and managers with the knowledge, methodologies, tools and practices needed to implement effective web sites. The overall objective of the program is to improve the ability of federal agencies to respond to the information needs of their customers. The courses are also open to State and local government Webmasters, and government contractors who provide Web site support services to federal agencies. On-site courses are also available.
The next courses will be offered on April 16-17"Federal Webmaster's Survival Course WM-101" and May 13-14"Advanced Web Management WM-210." To register, contact the Leads Corporation at (703) 769-5650.
