GSA Awards GITGO ContractGSA #10326 March 1, 2007 Washington, DC — The U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) today announced the award of its GSA IT Infrastructure Technology Global Operations (GITGO) task order (#GST1007EC0007), made against an 8(a) STARS Government-wide Acquisition Contract and worth in excess of $200 million, to Catapult Technology, Ltd. for the purpose of consolidating the agency’s IT infrastructure services. As the winning vendor, Catapult Technology, Ltd. will provide alignment of helpdesk operations and support the desktops, laptops, and servers of GSA’s approximately 15,000 employees and contractors in 500 plus locations around the world, which include Puerto Rico, Europe, and Asia. Catapult Technology, Ltd. will also support a large installed base of commercial software and remote access using both dial-up and broadband technologies. The GITGO contract, awarded on Feb. 28, 2007, and posted today on www.FedBizOpps.gov, is primarily performance based, and has a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The task order will consolidate GSA’s IT infrastructure, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings.
