Sindelar Departs for EDS PostGSA #10314 January 26, 2007 Washington, DC – GSA Administrator Lurita Doan, today announced that John Sindelar, Special Adviser to the Administrator, has taken a position with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in the Global Government Industry program, where he will provide strategic consulting. Sindelar has been with GSA for nearly 27 years and was the Deputy Associate Administrator of the agency’s Office of Government Policy from 1996-2006. He also served as Executive Assistant to the Associate Administrator for Administration, National Performance Review Liaison, Director of GSA Competitive Sourcing (A-76) Program, and Supervisory Budget Officer. “EDS is gaining a true asset in John Sindelar,” Doan said. “He has had a long and distinguished career in government. The American people have benefited from John's dedication to public service, and he will be sorely missed at GSA.” During his career, Mr. Sindelar has been recognized on numerous occasions. He has been the recipient of the GSA Meritorious Award, two Fed 100 awards for improvements through the use of IT, CIO Council Excellence Awards, and letters of Presidential Commendation. “I have enjoyed my time at GSA and have had the opportunity to work with many good people on a host of progressive projects,” Sindelar said. “I am especially grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in cross-agency effort to implement the President’s Management Agenda for E-Government since 2001.” ### Founded in 1949, GSA serves as a centralized procurement and property management agency for the federal government.
