Doan Announces Truesdell AppointmentGSA #10297 November 15, 2006
“Tessa brings great enthusiasm and will surely be an asset to GSA,” said Administrator Doan. “I am excited that she chose to join my team and know she will be a major player with important current and future projects, such as the National Women’s History Museum.” Ms. Truesdell worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a special assistant to the Undersecretary of Science and Technology, where she specialized in domestic and international issues. Additionally, she has served as a key staff person with various political campaigns. “It is a tremendous honor to serve President Bush and Administrator Doan,” said Ms. Truesdell. “I am very grateful for the opportunity to work in an organization whose core missions I believe in so strongly.” A native of Leawood, Kansas, Ms. Truesdell earned a bachelor of arts degree with honors in psychology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. ###
