The Federal Acquisition Conference - 2001 Starts April 18GSA # 9803 March 5, 2001

We are moving fast and it is events like this that help us get the message out to the right people," said David Drabkin, Senior Procurement Executive at GSA and one of the three signatories of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The conference will also feature discussion by Federal policymakers who will present their vision of how today's business should be conducted and their plans for tomorrow's business. The Procurement Executives Council is chaired by OMB's Deputy Director for Management. It is an interagency council comprised of the Senior Procurement Executives in the Federal government's Executive Branch as well as the Administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP). GSA provides billions of dollars in solutions to the Federal government and issues the FAR jointly with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
