Research Project: THE NATIVE BEES OF THE OKANOGAN AND WENATCHEE NATIONAL FORESTS

2007 Annual Report


1a.Objectives (from AD-416)
To develop a species list of the bees that pollinate flowering plants on the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests. Emphasis will be placed on sensitive plants, designated botanical areas and research natural areas.


1b.Approach (from AD-416)
Supervise collections of bee pollinators; deliver specimens and associated data.


3.Progress Report
This report serves to document research conducted under a non-funded cooperative agreement between ARS and the USDA Forest Service Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests. Additional details of the research can be found in the report for the parent CRIS 5428-21000-010-00D Pollinating-Insect Biology, Management, and Systematics Research.

No progress has been made in this agreement because the collaborator has not yet submitted any specimens for identification.
