Statistician |
As a member of statistics team, you will
be responsible for the collection and compilation
of statistics in one or more specific fields,
conduct statistical research and analysis,
develop new systems and indicators to support
users' statistical requirements.
You will participate in and work with a
wide spectrum of statistical data to assist
in decision- and policy-making. You are
comfortable working both alone and as a
member of a team.
You may specialise in one or more of these

Requirements:
|
At least a good honours degree in Economics,
Mathematics, Statistics or other related disciplines and subjects with substantial quantitative content. Eg. Accountancy, Information Technology which are relevant for specific jobs. |
|
Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to learn and apply computer packages for statistical work. |
Any related work experience
is a plus. |

Be responsible for accounting functions, including financial and management reporting ie Resource Accounts and Financial Management Indicator Statement. |

Handle accounting and financial activities relating to payables and claims processing, budget preparation and monitoring, fixed asset accounting. |

Liaise with auditors, review and follow-up on audit recommendations. |

Be responsible for office, administrative and logistics management covering procurement, contracts and inventories management. |
|
Administer the maintenance of office equipment, fixed assets and premises. |
|
Liaise and coordinate with suppliers and contractors on office renovation works and services. |

Provide IT admin support. |
