This report serves to document research that is being conducted under a Trust Agreement between ARS and the California Strawberry Commission. Additional details of this research project can be found in the report for the parent CRIS 5306-51530-013-00D, Micronutrients and Immune Function. Funding for this project was granted by the California Strawberry Commission in April 2005. The contractual agreement between ARS and the California Strawberry Commission was signed in July 2005. Official dates of the funding period are July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2007. The human study began September 2005. Seven of the 20 volunteers have successfully completed this study.
