Learn about the organisms that thrive in scalding hot water, toxic chemicals and total darkness. The website has curriculum, study guide and special activities, including a "Phone Call to the Deep" for selected schools.

ARMADA Project
An opportunity for K-12 teachers to participate in an all-expense paid lab, field, or shipboard research experience. Study humpbacks off Alaska, investigate global change impacts in Antarctica, or explore Sumatra's seafloor to name a few. Upon return, teachers share their research experiences with their classrooms and colleagues. |
