Research Project: PESTICIDE EFFICACY IN ORNAMENTALS

Objective:
To evaluate and collect pesticide efficacy and hytotoxicity data on ornamental crops to support new pesticide registrations in ornamentals through the IR-4 program. To collect crop safety and efficacy data to register new pesticides in ornamentals.

Approach:
Ornamental IR-4 protocols will be selected each year from IR-4 researchable project lists that are of high priority. Herbicides willbe applied with a small plot sprayer and weed control and crop injury evaluated according to written protocols. Data will be summarized and submitted to IR-4 and cooperator.
