Research Project: QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITS FOR GOOD LABORATORY PRACTICES COMPLIANCE

2007 Annual Report


1a.Objectives (from AD-416)
For Rutgers University to conduct quality assurance and quality control audits of raw data and final reports for compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations pending submission of data to the U.S. EPA.


1b.Approach (from AD-416)
An accredited quality assurance officer will conduct inspections of analytical raw data and final reports for GLP compliance prior to submission of data to the U.S. EPA.


3.Progress Report
This report documents research/services conducted under a grant between ARS and Rutgers University. Additional details of research can be found in the report for the parent project 0500-00007-081-00D, "Analysis of pest control residues in crops for IR-4 minor use registration." This project supported the required quality assurance and quality control audits during the conduct of work supported by the parent project. Site and report audits were conducted by the QA/QC officer in a timely fashion as requested by ARS. Financial status was updated throughout the reporting year.
