Research Project: REPRODUCTIVE EFFECTS OF E2Y-45

Location: Wapato, Washington

2006 Annual Report

4d.Progress report.
This report serves to document research conducted under a trust agreement between ARS and DuPont Agricultural Products. Additional details of research can be found in the report for the parent CRIS 5352-22000-017-00D Management of Insect Pests of Temperate Tree Fruit Crops

Exposure to residues of Rynaxypyr, an analog in the new anthranilamid class of insecticides, by adult oblique banded leafroller and oriental fruit moth in various laboratory tests caused significant reductions in mating. Trials evaluating this effect against field populations are planned for both pest species in 2007.
