4d.Progress report.
This report serves to document research conducted under a Specific Cooperative Agreement between the Southern Insect Management Research Unit, USDA-ARS, Stoneville, MS, and the Mississippi State University, Delta Branch Experiment Station, Stoneville, MS. Additional details of the research can be found in the report for the inhouse project 6402-22000-047-00D, "Resistance Management and Injury Potentioal of Lepidopterous Pests to Transgenic Cottons." Statistical analyses of data found a significant reduction in numbers of plant bugs in the treated margins as compared to numbers found in the untreated margins in samples taken during April and May 2006. Economic analyses found an economic advantage for growers in the treated areas.
