Secretary Gutierrez Discusses Need for Transition to Democracy in Cuba

Washington (Feb. 27)—At the American Enterprise Institute's “Moving toward a Free Cuba” conference, Secretary Gutierrez highlighted the desperate plight of the Cuban people and called for the focus to remain on the need for Castro’s Communist regime to change its repressive policies saying, “The people of Cuba deserve freedom, dignity and true social justice.” (Speech)
