Objective:
Identify and develop natural enemies of Alligatorweed for use as a biological control agent in the U.S., Australia, and Argentina.

Approach:
In conjunction with CSIRO, the research program will involve delineating the range of alligatorweed in Argentina and if possible, adjacent countries; collecting and curating flora and fauna specimens; maintaining an appropriate collection and specimen database; preparing and sending the specimens for identification; developing rearing techniques and studying the biology of selected species; observing host ranges of specimens in the field and laboratory.
