Division of Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation- Region VI
For this program, the Region is divided into two District Offices - the Houston District Office and the New Orleans District Office.
The Houston Office (District 8) is responsible for the states of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas. Defense Base Act jurisdiction - Canada, west of the 75th degree and east of the 110th degree west longitude.
The New Orleans Office (District 7) is responsible for the states of Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississipi.
