AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filed by Charles 
Crawford proposing the allotment of Channel 287A at Vinton, Louisiana, 
as that community's first local service. Channel 287A can be allotted 
to Vinton without a site restriction at coordinates 30-11-26 and 93-34-
52.

DATES: Comments must be filed on or before September 30, 2002, and 
reply comments on or before October 15, 2002.

of Proposed Rulemaking, MB Docket No. 02-212, adopted July 31, 2002,
