Control Exemption--Minnesota Prairie Line, Inc.

AGENCY: Surface Transportation Board.

ACTION: Notice of exemption.

SUMMARY: The Board grants an exemption under 49 U.S.C. 10502, from the 
prior approval requirements of 49 U.S.C. 11323-25, for Twin Cities & 
Western Railroad Company, a Class III rail common carrier, and Douglas 
M. Head, Charles H. Clay, Kent P. Shoemaker and William F. Drusch, all 
noncarrier individuals (collectively Petitioners) to continue in 
control of Minnesota Prairie Line, Inc.

DATES: This exemption will be effective July 6, 2002. Petitions to stay 
must be filed by June 21, 2002, and petitions to reopen must be filed 
by July 1, 2002.
