Airport

From Center City:

  • Proceed west on I-676 for 1 mile.
  • Take the Rt. 611 (Broad Street) Exit (This will put you on 15th Street).
  • Proceed south on 15th Street for about 4 lights.
  • At Market Street, proceed around City Hall to the left, past Broad Street.
  • The John Wanamaker Building is straight ahead.
  • Make a right onto Juniper Street. (This is the small street to the right of the bronze statue of a boy holding a sign).
  • Parking is to the left beneath the Wanamaker Building.
  • Enter the building from the Juniper Street entrance.
  • Take the escalator to the lobby level and walk to the North Tower. (There is a sign showing the way)
  • Take the elevator marked "Floors 4 to 8."
  • Get off on the 5th floor. The training center is straight ahead as you exit the elevator.

From South Jersey:

  • Take I-76 west to the Walt Whitman Bridge.
  • Take the Broad Street (Rt. 611) Exit. Stay on Rt. 611 north for about 5 miles.
  • Make a right at City Hall and another right onto Juniper Street. (This is the small street to the right of the bronze statue of a boy holding a sign).
  • Parking is to the left beneath the Wanamaker Building.
  • Enter Building from the Juniper Street entrance.
  • Take escalator to the lobby level and walk to the North Tower. (There is a sign showing the way.)
  • Take the elevator marked "Floors 4 to 8."
  • Get off on the 5th floor. The training center is straight ahead as you exit the elevator.

From Central Jersey:

  • Take Rt. 30 west to the Ben Franklin Bridge.
  • Follow signs for I-676 west.
  • Follow directions above for Center City.

From North Jersey:

  • Take the NJ Turnpike south to Cherry Hill, NJ.
  • Take the exit for Rt. 73.
  • Go west on Rt. 73 for 1/2 mile to Rt. 295.
  • Take Rt. 295 south about 3 miles to Rt. 70.
  • Take Rt. 70 west to Rt. 30.
  • Take Rt. 30 west to the Ben Franklin Bridge.
  • Follow signs for I-676 west. Follow the directions above for Center City.

From Northern PA, Western PA, Ohio, and Points West:

  • Take the PA Turnpike to exit 24, Valley Forge.
  • Take I-76 east for about 15 miles into Philadelphia.
  • Take I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) east for 1 mile.
  • Take the 16th Street exit.
  • Proceed straight for 1 block and then make a right onto 15th Street.
  • Follow the directions above for Center City.

From Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and Points South:

  • Take I-95 North past the airport, Veterans Stadium and the Walt Whitman Bridge.
  • Take I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) west (Exit 16).
  • (Note: this is a left-handed exit and will pass under the Ben Franklin Bridge.)
  • Follow the directions above to Center City.

From the 30th Street Amtrak Station:

  • Take a cab from the Station, or:
  • Take the SEPTA Regional train to the Market Street Station.
  • Exit at Market East.
  • Walk 2 blocks west to the corner of 13th and Market Streets.
  • The John Wanamaker Building is on the south side of Market Street between 13th St. and City Hall.

Philadelphia International Airport services the metropolitan and surrounding areas. From the airport you can drive or take the SEPTA Regional Trains.

Ground Directions from the Airport:

  • Follow signs out of airport parking lot for I-95 north, toward Philadelphia.
  • Proceed north on I-95 for approximately 8 miles to I-676.
  • Take I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) west (exit 16).
  • (Note: this is a left-handed exit and will pass under the Ben Franklin Bridge.)
  • Follow the directions below for Center City.

Train Directions from the Airport:

  • Follow signs out of the terminal for SEPTA Regional trains (R1 Train).
  • The R1 train will bring you directly to Center City (Fee $5.00).
  • R1 will make stops at University City, 30th Street Station, Suburban Station and the Market Street Station.
  • Exit at Market East.
  • Walk 2 blocks west to the corner of 13th and Market Streets.
  • The John Wanamaker Building is on the south side of Market Street between 13th Street and City Hall.
