New OMB Requirement: DUNS Number

Effective October 1, 2003, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requires grant applicants to provide a Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number when applying for Federal Grants or cooperative agreements on or after October 1, 2003.

There are two ways for organizations to receive a DUNS number at no cost:

USEPA Office of Children's Health Protection Approach for this Solicitation Only
For Solicitation "OCHP-AO-OCHP-03-001," Children's Environmental Health Protection State Level Collaboration to Address Childhood Asthma Initiative, Fiscal Year 2003, only, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Children's Health Protection will accept Full Proposal Applications without the DUNS number. Those applicants whose Full Proposal Applications are selected for award will be required to obtain a DUNS number prior to award.
