    TEXT VERSION OF SLIDE:

Title: 1960.66 – Purpose, Scope and General Provisions
    Type: Text Slide
    Content:

    • Except as modified by 29 CFR Part 1960 Subpart I, Federal agency recording and reporting requirements must comply with 29 CFR Part 1904, Subparts C, D, E, and G1
    • Federal agencies must provide the injury and illness information required by the OSHA recordkeeping forms
    _______________
1The definition of "establishment" in 29 CFR 1960.2(h) remains applicable to Federal agencies.

    Speaker Notes:

In order to eliminate confusion, and provide for a single definition, the rule does not adopt the definition of "establishment" in Part 1904.46. Instead, the definition of establishment in existing Part 1960.2(h) remains applicable to Federal agencies. OSHA believes the existing definition of establishment in 1960.2 better describes the application of that term in the Federal sector.
