DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

[Docket No. RP04-274-004]

Kern River Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Tariff Filing

October 7, 2004.
Take notice that on October 4, 2004, Kern River Gas Transmission
Company (Kern River) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas
Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, to be
effective November 1, 2004:

Substitute Seventh Revised Sheet No. 71
Substitute Fourth Revised Sheet No. 76
Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 110-A.1

Kern River states that the purpose of this filing isto supplement
Kern River's October 1, 2004 filing in this proceeding by submitting
three tariff sheets that were inadvertently omitted. These sheets were
originally submitted on April 30, 2004 and accepted to be effective
November 1, 2004, however, minor ministerial changes were made to these
sheets after the April 30 filing was submitted, so Kern River is
submitting substitute sheets to reflect the changes that have occurred
between April and November.
Kern River states that it has served a copy of this filing upon its
customers and interested state regulatory commissions.
Any person desiring to protest this filing must file in accordance
