| All measurements should represent the performance level for the indicator across the entire facility. For many indicators, however, you may choose to focus your commitment on a specific subset of the indicator, e.g. a specific material, a specific group of toxic air emissions, a particular waste component, a specific VOC, etc. | Specific |

Mercury, 1 gram mercury/switch, based on ELVS website. |
| |
Pull-A-Part, LLC is NOT a hazardous waste generator. Previously, mercury switches remained intact with the vehicle as they were shipped to the recycler. The mercury switches would remain with the steel until it reached the steel mill. At the steel mill, mercury is emitted into the air as a toxin, which later enters and contaminates waterways. By voluntarily removing mercury switches from vehicles and shipping them to an off-site recycler, Pull-A-Part is preventing downstream mercury contamination of the environment and, thereby, reducing downstream hazardous waste generation. |

All community environmental concerns are identified either through the website, by telephone, or to a facility manager on-site. All environmental concerns are then directed to Senior Vice President, Steve Levetan, who is personally responsible for resolving all concerns. Pull-A-Part is actively aware of their environmental impact and has performed noise testing and other measures to ensure they are not negatively affecting their neighbors. Also, many of Pull-A-Part's neighbors are industrial facilities.
