SECTION C: ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS

C.1 COMMITMENT 1

Coca-Cola North America - Dallas Syrup Plant's first commitment is to reduce the facility's total (non-transportation) energy use.

A project has been approved to install additional equipment at the plant, including comfort cooling of significant portions of the facility for employee safety. Due to this, we will not be able to achieve a reduction in electricity usage, and thus this commitment. An alternative commitment of reduction in water usage will be offered.

C.2 COMMITMENT 2

Coca-Cola North America - Dallas Syrup Plant's second commitment is to improve the management of the facility's non-hazardous waste.

The Dallas plant changed waste vendors between 2005 and 2006. In doing so, it was discovered that the previous vendor was supplying invalid weight data for the amount of waste hauled offsite. The weight reported in 2006 is more accurate and better represents the actual performance of the facility. Based on a comparison between our 2005 and 2006 production and waste generation activities, the 2005 landfill value is better estimated to have been 182 tons and the reused/ recycled off-site is estimated to be 688 tons.
