Byron Rogers Federal Building![]() 1961 Stout Street The Byron Rogers Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse is a 620,000 square foot structure housing 11 federal agencies. The building was designed by the architectural firm of Fisher & Davis and James Sudler Associates, and was constructed in 1964 by Autur Yenneri Company. Today it is the cornerstone of the Denver Federal District complementing the new Customs House and the Byron White U.S. Courthouse. The new U.S. Courthouse Annex is a 10-story facility that will provide for the expanding workload demands of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Located between 19th and 20th Streets and Champa and Curtis Streets, this structure is sensitive to the architectural heritage of Denver - in particular the federal district. The Byron Rogers Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse was recognized with a Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Certification for Existing buildings (EB v1) in September 2006. As a demonstration of GSA's commitment to safeguarding the environment, this courthouse is a model of sustainable, or environmentally friendly, design. Agency tenants with facility related questions or concerns should call (303) 236-8448. GSA has additional projects underway to make the building more welcoming, more conducive to security requirements and more usable for clients.
